1. The Face on the Milk Carton By: Caroline B. Cooney
This book is about a girl who thinks that her parents stole her. It was an okay book, but I wouldn't read the second one. It was kind of boring, but the plot had a good twist so I'm not sure if I would if I would reccomend this book or not.

2. Sounder By: W. H. Armstrong
Sounder is a classic about a boy and his dog. First off, this book was one of the saddest books I have ever read. People die and a lot of things like that happen to the boy. But even though all that happens it was still a very good book that other people should read.

This is the follow up in to the vampire academy. It was better than the first and new characters were introduced. It was much more adventurous and a little sad at times. So, a really good book.

11. Shadow Kiss By: Richelle Mead
I can't see how but her books just get better all the time. Totally different twist then you would expect. So it keeps you on your toes. But, it is the saddest of all her books, it seems like the longer the series, the sadder her books get.

12. Blood Promise By: Richelle Mead
Blood Promise was great, I think that anyone could read it and like it. But, it would be hard to understand if you hadn't read the rest of the series. The characters are still interesting, not boring at all. There are a least two more books coming out from the series this year, and I will definately read them.

15. A Certain Slant of Light By: Laura Whitcomb
A Certain Slant of Light is not your average ghost story. It's way better. It is about a girl who comes back from the dead by going into peoples bodies. I wish this book was part of a series because it would be great.

17. Black Beauty By: Anna Sewell
This was an okay book. It was about a horse, and what the horse goes through. It was from a horses point of view that made it kind of interesting. 19. My Sisters Keeper By: Jodi Picoult
This book is about a girl whos sister needs one of her kidneys to keep her alive. When the sister refuses to donate the kidney a lot of trouble is caused in the family. This was a very sad book. There was lots of emotion put into the characters. It was a little bit difficult to understand at times because it went back and forth between characters.
